    I've been a comcast customer since the AT&T days and I've switched a few times to qwest. But always went back to comcast. For along time I didn't like Comcast cause they were unreliable and the speeds were never up to par in terms of what I could get. Recently I found out my modem was too old and I had it swapped out. Now my view point has changed a full 360!

    I'm always getting my caps I pay for the gold tier and now I'm getting my downloads over 1000k! instead before I was getting 480k! The only bad thing is their tech support if you have any issues all they want to do is roll a truck.

    Installation: when I had internet installed (along with Digital cable) I hadn't moved n my furnature to my new apartment so installation was a breeze the techs hid all the wiring and they evne said they enjoyed it because nothing was blocking them. They were early to the job and did an A+ job.

    Connection Reliablity: Top notch I rarely have an outage that lasts more then 5 minutes even before with my bad modem I'd never have many outages.

    overall: I'm happy with comcast they've upgraded their speeds, i'm finally getting my speeds of what i'm paying for so overall i'm now a happy customer. I'd recommend them. But if somthing came along that was faster and more affordable (FIBER) I'd jump on that instead.

    I now subscribe to the extreme Tier the 50meg package and I rarely see 50meg except on speedtests but even having 35 to 40megs for downloads is way nice I want a faster upload though 5 megs is laughable.

    The service has finally been reliable the first moth lots of disconnects for no reason but now its been very stable.
