I tried several DSL options. Being so far from the central office, I did not have much choice. I went through a couple of DSL providers going out of business. When High Speed cable became available, I tried , not expecting much. It has worked much better than I expected and I am very happy with it.
UPDATE (5/30/2008): While I was happy with Comcast TV and Internet, I switched to FiOS as soon as it became available (February 2007). Mainly to give Comcast some competition. The one thing I really dislike about FiOS is the need for cable boxes. the space they take, the need for them to operate in sync, etc. So, if Comcast really comes out with the Tru-2Way solution, I may switch back.
