We have had our Comcast connection for six months now. In that time, we have had no downtime, and our speeds are consistently much higher than the 6000 down we pay for.
The person sent out here to do the install was some twenty-something contractor dressed like crap that quite obviously was eager to end his work day. However, he did a good job with our installation. He recommended we install the Comcast cd, but I declined - all we really wanted was the internet access. We do not use their email, haven't needed their customer support yet, and I haven't even been to their website. Everything is just fine.
