"Fastest upload speed avail in my area"
"cost, tv service tiles on analog"
"Have to pay for the speed I need."

Went with comcast because of the higher upload speeds they offer on their Gold tier.
The gold tier or speedtier depending on where you are is $10/month more and at the time of writing this is 8000/768 whereas the standard or silver tier is 6000/384.
I got it for the extra upload.

I think they are ok, but need to get my area stable. I have had loss of sync several times in the last few months. I have had multiple techs out and they blame the line crew saying they are doing some maintenance work. Fine if they are upgrading the area, but get it done already.
I also have standard analog tv with them. It pixelates/tiles off and on even though I don't have any cable boxes. Sometimes it is fine for a week and sometimes you can't watch any show at all. Again, problem plant in this area.

Price for 70 some channels is $50/month. Too much if you ask me.
Price for HSI on 6 month promo is $30, will go up soon.
I am rounding prices, but not by more than $2 or so.
I think if you took $10 off each product the (non promo) price would be reasonable.

Overall I hope that ATT does their new Uverse thing soon. They can't compete with downstream speeds right now, but all I really care about is the upload anyway.
If they can come in with a decent price it may force comcast to compete a little.
