I'm currently in a town just outside of Memphis, and it routes me not only through Dallas to every server location in the world but also it routes me places totally out of the way causing high pings and undesirable playing conditions. I've contacted them many times about this, but they swear that there is nothing they can do about it. For example, for datacenters located in New York, it goes to Dallas then LOS ANGELES, then DENVER, then CHICAGO, then NewYork. I end up pinging 110+ to Newyork from central. That's ridiculous.

It also goes out a few times a day, usually after midnight.

Speeds good for downloading files, but unfortunately that does me no good gaming wise. And since I'm in a small town, there are no alternatives.

    Routing

Here's a graphic showing the route from my home in Colorado Springs to a datacenter in San Diego where my favorite gaming server is located. It goes up to Denver, over to New Jersey, back to Denver, over to San Francisco, down to Los Angeles, back to New Jersey, then finally to San Diego. Good grief. Despite the weird routing, however, the latency is usually pretty good - at least during the day. At night it's a crapshoot.
