I have the 6meg connection. During the day when no one is on the connection is great. Fast, low latency, everything you expect from HSI. However at night when everyone gets on speeds go to all but 0 and latency goes through the roof. I have contacted tech support and they roll a truck. The truck tech tells me my signal levels are fine and since its during the day the speeds are fine as well. That night I call back and they send another tech. Its a perpetual loop. I provide the techs with extensive documentation with running pings to servers that are known for good ping times as well as trace routes to those servers and screen shots of speed tests that were taken during the period of slowness. I also tapped into a neighbors wireless and experienced the same results. It would be great if tech support exhibited a little common sense and looked at the information that I gave them and went its not something in the house but a larger issue that an engineer needs to look at and then called back when they had more information. The follow through on if the issue has been resolved or is still occuring is not good.

Comcast - upload / download speeds in Littleton, CO

Comcast download bought was 6000 / 768. The download varies all over the map (dslreports speed test) from 3Mbs to 22Mbs (probably the speedboost). The upload is consistently between 1.2Mbs to 1.5Mbs. I got this some I can use my webcam with AIM. Work well - but now I find out that my computer resources are being consumed by AIM - always a need for faster hardware I guess.
