I had DTV and Verizon DSL at first, and was paying $130 a month with no premium channels and 3MB dry loop DSL. When Comcast offered deal for $60 a month for TV and HSI, with HBO/STZ and DVR free, I couldn't pass it up.
This far, connection has been much better than Verizon as far as less timeouts when using multiple computers, faster downloads throughout, and overall just more reliable.
Will update my review if anything changes, but so far, I am extremely happy, and when the promo ends (as long as I get rid of HBO & STRZ) I will be at the same if not a little less then DTV/Verizon.
UPDATE!! Added the CDV service under the triple play promo, and have three complaints. One, though they deny it, Comcast sold my brand new number (verified with my buddy in switch that it had been previously un-used) and I started getting telemarketing calls asking for me by first AND last name within three days of activating! Second, for some reason that no one at Comcast could figure out, they disconnected my phone service 2 weeks after installing it. When I called to find out why, I was told that they had no idea why it was taken off my account, but they could get it working again, with a NEW phone number... Thankfully I worked around it with a few calls to the proper people and got my original number back up and running. I shouldn't have had to do the leg work myself though... Third, when they switched my promo, they charged parts of my package ala carte and made my new month's bill almost $380!! For one month of service!! Still working THAT one out...
