Edit: I upgraded to Comcast Digital Voice with a primary phone line and a no additional feature second line, and digital cable for TV. Current MTA is Motorola SBV5220. No particular problems so far. Taking two ATT/SBC/PacBell phone lines away saved me money by including unlimited North America long distance in the plan.
