    At best I get 4M of the proposed 6M. Other people in the area report the same problem, but Comcast refuses to acknowledge a problem on their end. The only time I come close to the advertised speed is when I'm going to a server here in Washington and even then the speed barely pushes 5M. But Verizon's DSL is slower than avg DSL speeds and just as expensive so it's really a no brainer. It's difficult coming from Comcast in Florida where I was always getting at least 8M and sometimes 10M.

    Time to call in!

    If Comcast won't do anything, pester and bitch at them until they do. Ask around in the BBR Comcast forum for some help and if that doesn't work, ask for the Exec escalation number and see how that goes.

    I've Comcast too and it took months for me to get what I wanted.
