    I chose comcast because of a good introductory rate and because I didn't have a landline for DSL. After the intro period, the price is nearly the same as a landline with DSL.

    Their installers are clueless. I had one out to add a cable outlet and they were unprepared to do anything except open the wall plate and put on a connector.

    They also tried to charge me for renting a modem even though I was using one I already owned.
