We left the Northern Va area after getting tired of traffic/crime/and in general a piss poor quality of life. We moved to the country and live in a 4 season resort now that had Adelphia which we had no problems with. Comcast took over and the service is still great, a bit pricey but thats life. Speeds are 6/768 and stay there, the HDTV provided, while lacking the amount that either of the satellite providers have the PQ is better, we had Directv for 8 years in Northern Va and did a side by side here. I have 4 HD sets and who ever provides quality not quantity gets the bucks
4/7/09 Update on Comcast service: we are still using the Comcast HSI but dropped thier TV service as they kept jacking up the bill, last time around for the Ultimate Pak the bill was 197 and change--too much. Switched to Dish Network on 1/22/09 so far the service has bee great and about 40 less per month. The HSI from COmcast is still running great though never down and speed are good 6/1.
