All together i like their service, but if you have old wires in your house, the service is going to suck. Most people don't understand that, but i put all new RG-6 in and the internet screw's. Now if the price was even $10 cheaper i would be extremely impressed, but so far nothing impresses me more than FIOS. 8 out of 10

I moved into a new location. I work for a phone company (Not Fairpoint) and because of the whole Verizon Fairpoint switchover ordering a simple dsl loop from Fairpoint as a CLEC has so far taken over a month. And counting...Fairpoint is having "Provisioning" issues. So in the meantime im forced to go back to Comcast and i signed up for their $66 deal. Again it works. Once my deal runs out im dumping it i just need internet in the interm to work from home and do my normal everyday stuff. Even if i wanted to do dial up i couldnt....cant get a phone line . Hopefully Fairpoint will get a grip and ill have a loop delievered to my home and get DSL again.
Its not that i hate Comcast or anything i just think their service is overpriced. Their bundles are great..but only last so long then ill be stuck with spending $45 (approx.) a month for cable internet...Not including the tv...ill see how stable the connection is over the next few weeks and report back with my findings.
