Have the 8mb tier, get good speeds most of the time.
Pre-Sale was horrible. They said I didnt have cable in my area...although the person before me had it. i had to call several times to find someone who could help me....They said they would need to send someone out to run a cable line to the house...but before they did that, I hooked up my equipment and it worked without any intervention.
Called support once and they wanted to forward me to Microsoft when my modem was down. I told them its not my computer but they insisted, i then hung up. How is this a microsoft problem when my modem will not sync.
They then tell me the modem that I purchased is owned by them (although i purchased it myself at circuit city) and I must keep paying modem rental fees. Too bad I lost the receipt 5 years ago when I purchased it.
Local outages are not known to them for a long time...so they want to send a service tech out when the entire area is down...but hey what can you do.
I work from home so i like to know when service is expected to be back up.
Other than when having to deal with people , the service is fine.
