I was with Sprint Broadband and happy for quite a few years. Cable just recently made available in my area. DSL still not available.
In recent months Sprint Broadband has degraded to be unusable.
I signed up for 8000/768 HSI and 2 lines of Comcast digital voice. I got a good introductory rate but after this runs out it will be pricey. Being able to cancel Qwest phone will help some.
Installer came out and was fairly knowledgeable and professional. It was snowy outside and he placed shoe covers over his shoes in the house. Nice Touch.
Cable was run on a fresh line from the Cable box in my yard (will be buried in April). HSI was hooked into house with a fresh run. Phone lines wired into Phone box outside house and each jack is 2 line capable. Only problem was a bad line on the second line side which he troubleshooted and fixed.
Only been active a week. Will wait and see hoe it lasts and if bandwidth caps affect me.
Have not noticed any P2P shaping yet.
