All in all my Comcast connection has been resonably stable, with very infrequent outages. Only extended outage in recent memory was a multiple day outage due to major power failure/lines down during a storm last summer which wasn't really Comcasts fault.
I recently switched to Comcast workplace, with 5 static IP addresses, and while the connection remains about the same, the customer service relating to switching my account from a residential account to a business one, was painful.
At first, Comcast installed the workplace connection, and removed my residential modem, but continued to charge be for the residential internet, plus modem rental, as well as the new business class service. Took quite a while to sort out, and I had to be quite forceful with the rep to get the proper credit.
All in all, I'm looking forward to the day I can leave Comcast behind, mostly due to woeful customer service - I have no real complaints with the service itself
