    My Other Reviews·Verizon Online DSL
    This is 8 Mb/1 Mb service.with addl static IPs. l also have a Verizon--7.1/768 DSL line--i got this as a backup/spillover because of erratic reliabilty of my Verizon DSL line. my business has outgrown the DSL line. It took a couple weeks to get this installed-- I finally had to get a supervisor to come out to complete the job after 3 different tecjs couldnt get a sync. The cable modem SMC8013WG-CCR is locked down--- with limited features there's know easy way to monitor it for problems (e.g. snmp, syslog, etc.) Also the WAN/Private LAN implemention is weird if you just want to pass thru the IPs. Occasionally there are weird error messages in the logs--- but service seems fairly stable. Speed/Throughput is marginally better than DSL line--- Overall service seemns more reloable than Verizon line--but support marginally better than my experience with Verizon . All-in-all, Id rather have fiber!
