    I was paying $55/month until Fios came to town and I was able to negotiate a $38/month rate for 1 year.

    I don't use Comcast email or their portal. Compared to other free offerings on the internet, Comcast's is not very good.

    As long as the service is stable and it delivers the speed that I'm paying for, I really won't have any gripes.

    why comcast?

    So you can get FIOS, but didn't? You have the ability to use just about the most wonderful broadband service available in the US, FIOS, and you choose comcast instead....? Can you expand on why?

    Fios fan boy?

    No problems with Comcast really. Speed is fine. $38/month is better than Fios and I don't care to give any new business to Verizon. Installing Fios is a headache and I actually want to keep my copper phone line for reliability.
