    Moved to twin cities from Chicago. The internet in twin cities seems much better. Customer service seems better too. I guess with large companies, it is safe to say your mileage may vary depending on what city you are in, and/or what neighborhood.

    11-22-08 Wow! Everything going great! One thing I noticed is there is very few freeze ups on the TV side. They really have their stuff together. AT&T hang flyers on my door for their new service, but, I really dont like calling India for problems and at the moment Comcast is perfection.

    $60 just for internet? or TV + Internet?

    If that is $60 for both, you got a good deal from Comcast.

    If it is just for Internet, you might want to consider AT&T. I know some parts of your town (Mchenry) now have AT&T U-Verse TV and Internet services available. Various TV packages (up to U400-roughly 400 channels), and 4 internet tiers: 1.5 Mbps down/1 Mbps up (express), 3 Mbps down/1 Mbps up (pro), 6 Mbps down/1 Mbps up (elite), and 10 Mbps down/1.5 Mbps up (max). »uverse.att.com or call 800-ATT-2020

    Just throwing another option out there. No reason to switch if you are happy with the service and price from Comcast.
