Only in America can you sell something for one price, then double it once someone has been a customer for over a year. I thought I could get a deal by signing up for service at BestBuy when I moved, but what a mistake. BestBuy promises rebates when you buy the equipment from them, but they refuse to honor them. That's another story. Anyway, ordering service through BestBuy delayed the installation for about two weeks. Once installed things work >90% of the time. The internet speed is great at 18mb/s down and 1.5 mb/s up for me, but I don't think its worth the money.

| Re: really? The $204 per month was for cable TV with HBO (digital silver) HDTV, phone & cable. After threatening to leave, I was offered the $99/mo. for basic digital cable TV without HDTV, phone & internet package. I still feel gouged, but there's no real choice out there. | |
