For the past year we had the Comcast Triple Play. While the speed has been very good, we had a consistent problem with it being unreliable. Service would often go out for hours in the middle of the night (not a problem for me, but my wife works best at night, so it was a BIG problem for her).
And with the current state of the economy (and the fact that I was laid off in January), we can no longer AFFORD even the basic "Triple Play" (We never had any of the "advanced feature channels - just the basic digital package), so we are switching back to Bellsouth (At&T) for their 1.5 Dryloop DSL service. While it may not be as fast as Comcast, it is much more affordable (we also have a VOIP phone to replace Comcast Digital Voice, and we seldom watched TV - just not much worth watching these days) and from prior experience with Bellsouth (Via both Bellsouth and Earthlink DSL service ) the DSL service was MUCH MORE RELIABLE.
