Switched to Comcast HSI/Vonage from Embarq DSL/POTS. I got 3x faster Internet speeds, basic cable, and a phone line for ~$20 cheaper a month. Been with them for almost a year and I can't complain about anything. For my area the options are Embarq or Comcast. Comcast takes the cake.
Currently I have Limited Basic Cable for TV. I wanted to get Digital Cable and their special which is $29/mth for a yr with a 1 yr contract is only for new subs. I have to pay $55 a month even though I don't have digital cable now. Dish is looking good right now. A CSR told me I can cancel my basic cable and keep my Internet for 6 months and then comeback for that deal. Doesn't make much since to me.
