Moved in with someone who already had the service. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but after seeing ATT trucks all over town, may check out the other options... Pretty sure its 6.0 down, not sure about the upload speed, but tests pretty high, and much faster than the 1.5/268 I was stuck with before...
