    I've been using Comcast for a long time. My install was 8 years ago via Media One. Overall I'm happy with the service. It's pricey but worth it for the 8/1 speed package. DSL or U-Verse or not available at my address so cable is my only option. The connection itself has been pretty solid for me. Outages are very rare and speeds are almost always as advertised. I've heard horror stories about the customer service but the few times I've dealt with them have been acceptable to me.
