Have had Comcast for several years and moved it from one house to another as well. Initially the only option in my area, now Verizon offers DSL as well. Had both at one point at previous house and they were both acceptable, but when I moved, Verizon DSL was not initially available. Self-install was not particularly easy, but it eventually worked without needing to call tech support. I work out of my house on some days, so reliability and speed (using VPN, NetMeetings, etc.) are both important (if not critical) to me.
DSL is now available in my area, but the speeds are only half of Comcast's at a comparable price and my landline through Verizon is bad enough from a noise perspective that I'm leery of using them for anything. Just ordered DigitalVoice for phone through Comcast, worried about Vonage's financial future and already "been there, done that" with SunRocket.
