    Comcast just upgraded my 8Mbps download (+ Powerboost) to their new tier called Blast! Which is 16Mbps down/2Mbps up with Powerboost in either direction. All I had to do was power cycle my cable modem to receive this at no change in price. I am considering their Ultra tier which is DOCSIS 3.0 and offers 22Mbps/5Mbps down and up respectively. I could use the upload speed with VPN or when sending out high resolution photos for printing and sometimes I like to pull some of my music collection from home to work to listen there and it make this easier.

    I have been very happy with service with Comcast and have had them for more than two years now. The only land based competitor is QWest and they are simply a sorry alternative [no thanks to their past criminal CEO who raided the company of its cash and to stifling regulation].

    I would like to see more competition in the Internet market, but I am very glad to see that Comcast doesn't seem to be abusing their position of "best" in most of the Twin Cities area [people have long memories should a good competitor finally arrive].

    Anyway, I am very pleased and can recommend it to anybody!
