After four years of service, we still cannot think of one single thing that has gone wrong. Our service has been flawless after all this time. DSL service was not available where we live four years ago, so when Comcast came knocking that they had recently wired our country road, we were thrilled with the idea of high speed internet, but not thrilled with using the cable company to provide it for us. Reluctantly, we signed up. DSL became available two years later in the Spring of 2007.
I'd never change over. It may cost a little more through Comcast, but it is worth the added cost to us. We use a Chinese Voip company, a Chinese television service, and sometimes six computers are on the internet at once; two wired, and four more wirelessly.
We haven't seen a single price increase since signing up, but the speeds keep getting higher.
