I've just gotten over (I hope) a "bad spell" with Comcast here outside Atlanta.
I've been with them for a long time.These bad times happen too often and require a call to the office that may or may not solve anything esp. if the problem is intermittent. I like to download from usenet and I have a program that tells me I get over 1meg per second. I don't know what I'm suppose to be getting, but that works OK for me. Lately it has dropped to around 780mbs. The signal sometimes goes through periods where it stops altogether and I have to reboot/reset.
When you get 2 or 3 months that are trouble free, it's great. When you have constant hassles it sucks. There you go, my 2 cents.
