I recently had Comcast "Performance" installed and am definitely happy with the speeds compared to my old DSL connection. The DSL plan at the same price only offered 0.384Mbit upstream, Comcast gives me an average of 2.5M, The average download speeds tend to be almost twice as fast as DSL!
I'm on a 6 month deal at a lower price which is half of what I paid for Bellsouth's DSL service. After the trial it will be about $10 more than my old DSL.. Not too shabby.
This is by far the best deal for broadband internet in Knoxville, TN. AT&T is out of the picture until they launch U-verse. Of course Comcast has yet to unveil Docsis 3.0 into Knoxville!
