I left AT&T uVerse to come back to Comcast due to moving from Jacksonville, FL to Shakopee, MN. I admit, I miss uverse. Comcast has a monopoly up here in the Twin Cities, and it shows by their lack of service and support.
The AnyRoom DVR, is a joke in terms of feature set and functionality. Prepare to be absolutely infuriated with its lack of featureset. The addon Unit, doesn't actually allow you to manage any of your recordings, so after watching a show, you will need to delete it from the primary unit. The systems are also prone to slowness in the UI, and have locked up several times requiring me to perform a hard reset. The internet is relatively fast during off hours, however, it seems they like to perform random maintenance, during daylight hours instead of late at night, which has impacted the service. Be aware that duing primetime, your internet performance will be impacted depending on how many of your neighbors also use Comcast. I have Blast!, and during the off hours, routinely see 28mbs download, however, during primetime, 10-15mbs.
