    Used to have Verizon DSL - 7mb. VZ was solid but they kept cramming things on my bill that I didn't ask for. Competition is great... so I ordered CC HSI and also switched my voice phone over to CDV. Good-bye VZ. Its been less than 2 weeks, but so far everything is working very well. CDV is crystal clear and works great. HSI is super fast compared to DSL. Even my ping times are better.

    They supplied me with an Arris TM602G modem. I have to rent it for $3/month since I have CDV.

    The installer was very friendly. A CC contractor. He didn't do much more than replace the connectors on my cable that hadn't been used in about 6 years and connect the modem. I would have liked to see him run some signal tests or something on the line to make me feel a little more comfortable that he was doing everything technically possible to make sure nobody had to come out later to fix something. In the end it all works anyway, so I'm good.
