I got an offer a little before the end of august, 44.99 for dvr and hbo for a year with contract for tv portion of service, which I refuse to do a contract. I have 6 months if I don't agree to contract. High speed internet 8Mb for a year no contract with that. Otherwise I like that they have a local number to be contacted at instead of them irritating 800 numbers. They don't seem to have on demand yet. Must be an older system. Doesn't offer Boomerang channel YET, I lived out here about 5 years ago and they didn't have it. And they still don't now that I moved back! Seem to be decent people at this comcast office. Otherwise no major complaints or problems.
Just had gotten internet from comcast installed today 11/19/10...Economy tier. Funny how I am back already after canceling like 2 months ago I think. Dsl is cheap but it aint the best, cable internet will always win over I have now learned. I didn't get the tv service, just internet.
I upgraded to the performance starter in early september, just checked my account on 9/11/11
Lo-and behold....A wonderful 5$ thank you for upgrading fee was charged to me.
As far as I am concerned comcast has the Worst company in america contest in the BAG!
It aint enough that you get money because I don't sub to a tv service?
