After being with WOW for about 8 years, I switched to Comcast. I am getting more services....faster internet, more HD, and a lot more On Demand.....for less money. The program guide and the DVRs are also far superior. The phone quality is as good or better than WOWs as well. WOWs customer service is OK but I'm not willing to pay more ($400-$500 per year) for supposidly better customer service when I should never need to use CS in the first place. Comcast just works so I could care less if the WOW person is a little more friendly on the phone. My parents live a mile away from me and have had Comcast for about 6 years. They have never had an issue (at least that they can remember).
I have 8/1 rated internet with PowerBoost @ 16/2. I regularly get 20/2.5 on speed tests. I also have all the digital package with HBO, two HD DVRs and one HD set top box. I also have Comcast Digital Voice
$99 for the first year. $130 for the second year. After the 2nd year I will renegotiate my price or, if unable to do that, maybe switch back to WOW (if they improve their service offerings).
