said by Dumaine:We were avid ATT customers since wayyyyyyyyyyy back in the Ma Bell days so I was afraid of change. Well after a year of their Elite 6Mbps Dsl not being able to run our 2 computers and laptop I made the switch to Comcast. Been with them since November and have had very minimal issues with our triple play service....WE AINT Lookin Back lol
comcast want you to think that you cant go over 250gb but it is only for marketing purpose and trick everyone use less bandwidth. hahahhahhahahhaa
i think you can go over but i guess it would not be easy to do unless you download 24hrs a day nonstop and leave your computer on all the time. unlike att they will charge you more. that just ridiculous. i think a policy would be to allow us to use as much possible everyone need is different
some use a little. some use on average. some use a lot. depending on the number of computer or family and what someone does with their connection. it cannot be fixed. saying 250gb for everyone is just as silly as saying you can only use up 10 gallon of gas per month! its not water, gas, or eletric. its bandwidth. is nothing more then trasnferring of data bits and byte of 0 and 1
that its...there should be no limit.
how are we suppose to enjoy it if it is limited
everyone need is different
to limit bandwidth is just nonsense.
they just need to upgrade their backbone
say from 100mbit to 1gbit
that 10 time more bandwidth will allow them to serve more people and not worry about bandwidth problem.
i think there more then enough bandwidth for everyone
it just a lazy way of not slowing down everyone
you know how connection slow down to a crawl during peak hours when everyone uses it well it gonna happen anyway with or without the 250gb limitation....
i suppose it for marking purpose and to trick people to use less bandwidth then they would want to if there isn't any disclaimer about it.
