Just be aware if you rent a modem and are subscribing to Performance or lower tiers. As of this review they are handing out single channel modems (docsis 2.0) . I feel this will turn around to bite comcast up here when a lot of people get online and some segments might start seeing saturated channels. With single channel modems, you have less capacity than a Docsis 3.0 modem. More capacity benefits the customer and the ISP...

thats my 2 cents. Otherwise, for Tuolumne county, Comcast blows the competition out of the water. AT&T might offer similar packages to an extent, but AT&T has been absolutely horrible with overselling bandwidth and overloading their equipment in the stockton NOC.
