Horrible Don't use comcast! I have had Comcast for about 2 years, I am an IT professional for a chain of hospitals, so my internet connection is critical for my work. Not long ago My connection dropped, and when I called "customer service" I was put in contact with a rep who was less than helpful. I insisted that nothing had changed inside the house, but she insisted that I must take 4 hours out of my life to wait for a service tech that wouldn't be available for two days! Two days was a long time for me not to have internet access. I investigated the option of moving to business class service, but in my anger I told them I would just wait for there service tech. Once off the phone,I started looking for alternatives. I subscribed to a 4G (wimax) service to use as a backup while sitting in a dunken donuts using their wifi. when I got home, I found my internet service up and running. Shortly after,I got a call from Comcast alerting me to the fact that there was some unscheduled work being done in my area and that was the source of my problem. Several days later my wireless 4G modemarrived in the mail and it sat in the box for about a week as I planned how I was going to configure my firewall for the redundant routes. Suddenly my internet goes out again, I call for support and again it will take two days, I elect to go with the business class service and get transferred to the appropriate team, only problem is the price that they were quoting me was not the price I wanted to get. By this time my 4G modem was up and running. Running very well, so I just canceled my service. Several days later I get a call from a Comcast representative, looking to try to keep me as a customer. At first she was really nice, but as soon as I said, "I am unsalvageable as a customer." She became short and read her closing statement from a script and before I could finish saying, "Thanks anyway." she hung up on me.
I would not recommend Comcast to anyone. This company does not seem to care about anyone other than people who are not prospective customers.
