I'm supposed to be getting 20Mbps. But I barely get 3-4 Mbps during the day. It's much better in the middle of the night. I occasionally get 8-11 Mbps. But I have yet to see it cross 12Mbps. Comcast was my provider in my last residence and I used to routinely get 24Mbps speeds. I have been very disappointed with Comcast for the last year and a half. The tech points to ridiculous numbers from SpeedTest.net (35 Mbps) that have no relation to actual download speeds. But DSLReports shows speeds of 3-4Mbps which accurately reflect actual download speeds.

Comcast Speed below purchase rate ALWAYS

Have Motorola 6120 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. Running ShaperProbe speed test - no change after upgrading.

Upstream: No shaper detected.
Median received rate: 2389 Kbps.

Downstream: Burst size: 9466-10006 KB;
Shaping rate: 15978 Kbps.

Streaming is not possible - downloading ISOs takes 4 hours and usually fails before completing.
