Decent speed most of the time, but has a few hiccups.
There were a few times that the connection dropped entirely for hours.
For decent speeds in Purcellville, Comcast wins by default.

Verizon has FIOS in areas of Leesburg, just 8 or so miles down the road. Here's hoping that it makes its way westward toward Purcellville some day. At present Comcast wins by default since it's really the only provider with reasonably high speed connections.

Competition out here includes Verizon DSL and a wireless ISP, neither of which provide the bandwidth required for simultaneous streaming in HD from Netflix, connection and desktop sharing via VPN with work colleagues, and VOIP video calls. So, Comcast wins by default. Their prices aren't great, and sometimes their connection can be a bit shaky, so I suspect they will not be the provider of choice should Verizon ever bring FIOS to town.
