At my location I am getting speeds twice as fast (50/10) compared to my old FiOS connection (20/5) and I am paying a little less.
So far it has been awesome. Only disadvantage is obviously the data caps compared to FiOS that doesn't have caps.
I also had to go out and buy a router because I was used to the free one from Verizon. So that's just something you should keep in mind.
Also, I had to get my DOCSIS 3.0 modem in order to avoid the modem rental fee, another thing that Verizon lets you use for free.
The speeds are still better and I'm still paying less. I couldn't ask for more.

You can buy your own modem and that way you don't have to pay the modem fee. | |
