At my location I am getting speeds twice as fast (50/10) compared to my old FiOS connection (20/5) and I am paying a little less.

So far it has been awesome. Only disadvantage is obviously the data caps compared to FiOS that doesn't have caps.

I also had to go out and buy a router because I was used to the free one from Verizon. So that's just something you should keep in mind.

Also, I had to get my DOCSIS 3.0 modem in order to avoid the modem rental fee, another thing that Verizon lets you use for free.

The speeds are still better and I'm still paying less. I couldn't ask for more.

Caps and modem fee

The caps are suspended for now, but once they are enforced it will be 300GB per month and $10 if you go over per 50GB.

You can buy your own modem and that way you don't have to pay the modem fee.

Re: Caps and modem fee

You're right, they are suspended. I just logged into my Comcast account and noticed that it wasn't being enforced. That's pretty cool!
