Although the installation service wasn't extremely organized, the infrastructure exists (in my area) and is robust. I understand my southern friends haven't had the same success.
With only a single outage in 12 months, I've been very pleased with my broadband connection. Normal downloads are 1MB in just over 7 seconds with no tweaks.
They need a tiny bit of work with the tech support folks; but aside from that I'm a happy camper....
(updated August 2003..the tech support folks appear to be pretty good!)
(updated January 2004..Overall I've been very pleased with service. They did make some mail server changes which resulted in delayed or duplicate emails, and have been working much harder at filtering spam. It'd be nice if the price were a bit less; but, I won't squeal too much since there aren't many broadband choices.)
(updated June 2004...spam filters are pretty much non-existent for approximately 2 months. After repeated reports with header data for known abused email server nothing has been done. I'm attempting to email corporate now; but anticipate switching to another ISP if this continues much longer).
(updated January 2008) Expensive with no alternate other than (doom music...) dial up. Yeah right.
