I scheduled my Pipeline service on September 10, and it was installed on September 17, 2003. So far, I've liked everything I've seen for the most part. Charter could offer higher uploads, and nobody would complain. For example, I'm signed up with the 1.5/128 plan, and I typicaly see around 1.4 down, and 70 up, which is nowhere near 128. So far, though, I've been problem free. I'll post here again in a couple of months.

Update...I upgraded to the 2Mb/128K level. It rocks. We could still use some more upload speed though.

Update...I've been on the 3Mb/256Kb package for a few months now. I have to say that I really love it. And it's been great to me. My internet has only been out once or twice...pretty good. I love what I'm getting, and it's a pretty good price. Great job Charter, and thanks for providing such a great service!

    UPDATE (03/07/2008):

Well, I recently moved back to Charter, when moving to a location that was just outside of town, and out of range of DSL. I signed up for Charter's 10Meg/1Meg plan, and so far, LOVE it. I'm getting 10+ speeds, and paying less than I was paying for ATT DSL, where I only had 6Meg. After modem rental, I'm paying 34.99/month.

    UPDATE: (DEC 01 2008):

Well, I just moved to a new home, and decided to upgrade to Charters's 16/2 package. So far everything seems to be going okay, though I'm only getting around 13meg. I've been told that's because I'm using an older "Terayon" modem, and swapping that out should allow the full speeds. Upload speeds seem to be steady at just under 2 meg, though. I'll post an update when I get the new modem...
