    Customer service and tech support is mostly filled with know-nothing people that can only give you textbook "in-the-box" answers. This has gotten even WORSE over the years since they outsourced their phone support to foreign countries. I mean... come on... should I really need to an internet tech what an IP address is???

    Another beef I have with Charter is that when you need an in-home tech most of the time you will get outside contracted techs. Many of these contractors are sloppy and do not care as much for the quality or thoroughness of their work.

    Bottom line, if you can avoid the Charter's tech services, Charter's Internet Service is by far much better than any other service I have ever had.

    Why do I keep the service? In my area the service stays up very reliably... and $19.99 per month is a great price for high speed internet.
