Have been with them for over 3 years and have had real good service. I have several other options but for the value with the package I have we're happy. They do go down but so does every one else. Download speed for files and software is excellent, usually in the 250kps to 300kps range. I have a hardwall firewall router installed, plus sygate running XP and 98SE and my system is pretty secure. I have a Dynamic IP, I ordered their silver service and have since been upgraded. Installation of modem and cable was speedy and flawless. Techs knew what they were doing and answered all of my questions. Online and 24/7 service makes contact easy. Overall, very satisfied and would not trade unless other company offered totally free service, and then I would really have to think about it.

As of May 15, 2004 I have upgraded to the 3MB/768 level...Tech told me it would taker two days to upgrade and it took two days...Still very happy here (L.A. Basin) and in this area we have several options.

As of November 28,2004 everything is still going ok, speed usually as promised and only a few minor hitches along the way...Have convinced several other residents in the park to switch from DSL or upgrade from 56 k

As of July 2, 2005 every is still ok...What can I say aside from a few glitches once in a blue moon Charter keeps on delivering constant, regular service that never changes, If we do I have a problem all I have to do is call and I have always get someone who knows what i was talking about and who could fix the problem in a timely manner...Except for the time of the Bees last year...Other than that, waiting for 5MB service...

As of March 31, 2006 Charter still does pretty good in fact better than most what I have seen with the other services in the area. Still waiting on new 5MB service but that is not local Charters fault it is not here. They lost the NFL but so did everyone else. Charter still delivers 99.5% of the time.

As of October 3, 2006, things have all of a sudden gotten worse and we think it because they have no customer service in this country any more. No one seems to know what is happening and they tell you it will be a week before they can dispatch a driver...Not as impressed anymore...may have to switch as we have several alternatives here.
