    I had Earthlink DSL before, and it was SLOW (600 kbps when I was paying for 1.5 mbps.) Earthlink said that was "plenty fast for browsing the web" and wouldn 't troubleshoot it.

    Did Earthlink Seriously Tell You That??

    If you pay for 1.5Mbps, you should get 95%+ of the speed most of the time (technical limitations prohibit getting 100%).

    If technical limitations prevent them from providing real 1.5Mbps, then they shouldn't have sold it to you, knowing they can't live up to their word.

    No wonder Earthlink is in trouble...
