    Advertised speed 16Mb - in good days I might get a 10Mb burst, but on average won't go above 8-9.
    Still the only choice for now, but I hope uVerse is not that far away.
    At the time of this review I would not reccomend to any one Charter as a reliable connection, and especially NOT a good value for money.

    Bright House Networks

    This could potentially be the new big boy in town if charter doesnt start acting like a professional company and living up to their own delusions of grandeur. If I was going to advertise 10meg downloads then Id make sure that speed never went below 10meg. It is better to give too much than not live up to promises they hang their jobs on! My vote... Bright House Networks! sit back and watch charter sink. The upper tiers cannot even get a grip on their own employees. Its pathetic!

    Although Bright House does not serve your area at this time, Charter does!
