I had to move to temporary housing for two months and I'm forced to use Charter where I am. The install tech showed up on time and was courteous. Although Charter forced him to try and sell me a cable box and a cable modem even though we told the coordinator we didn't need them (go figure). I told him we didn't need it and he backed right off. My main issue is with the billing department. The sales/coordinator person told us we could get a new subscriber bundle which was $30.00 a month cheaper than their "normal" pricing. When we received our first bill we noticed that we weren't getting the bundle price. So my wife called and tried to get it straightened out and ran into a support person that couldn't speak English and was unbelievably rude to her. She tried to escalate up to a supervisor who didn't answer their phone and apparently doesn't have voice mail because the phone rang some twenty odd times. So I sent an email to a support person who basically told me to call the same rude idiots I already talked to. Charter is on notice! I can't wait to move back and reestablish my Cox account. Sad to say this sort of customer treatment is becoming the norm.
