    Well I started out Charter 2 months ago with their 10 meg service and their Digital phone.
    Digital phone has been great since day one, there was a 911 routing issue at first routing to Hueytown, but now it's correctly routing to Shelby County 911.

    Internet has only gone down a few times, DSL never had an outage. But internet outages have only been for a few minutes at a time. And the phone has never gone out.

    I have upgraded to the 20/2 service and speeds are pretty consistent throughout the day.

    Contacted several reps and none can seem to figure out what is wrong with it.

    This is the latest one and it's not even reaching 5Mb.

    carefull on them over selling there pipe - downgrade if they cannot keep up. complain about pipe problem if consist ant and you might get a possible lower notch special.

    Same here, at times with my 10 meg service I barely get 3 megs. They lead me to believe I'm the only one who has this problem, and that they've never heard of such a thing... but now I see the problem is them overselling their pipe? Just gets worse as time goes on, and yeah I've gotten discounts and such from complaining, but I still am thinking about going with DSL for a more consistent connection.
