    I already had cable to the house and I'm on old phone line so choosing charter was pretty easy.
    I recently ordered the 16mb dwn /1mb up and it hits pretty close most of the time.
    The original instaullation went fairly good and was in 7 days after I ordered it.

    Thr modem that was installed was a Motorola (forgot wich model) I have since bought my own.
    The only bad thing I can think of is you have to keep up on specials and price changes.
    I had the 10mb dwn/500kb up pacage and the price went down but they did'nt tell us or change our bill till I called them.
