My AT&T DSL that I had for years became unreliable to the point that I switched. So far, the Charter service has been really good and fast (25 MB tier - I may drop that back a notch later. I picked up a diy install kit which was easy to work with, including connection to my router, and later was upgraded to a Docsis 3 modem. All of my tech support has been by phone - mainly for activating the modems- and has been fine.
