I recently ditched my CenturyLink DSL service to go back to Charter HSI for one reason. That reason being reliability. I'm not quite sure what happened with the DSL service in this area but it seems as though that company has all but given up on its customers in this part of town.
But enough of them. The two techs showed up today to get the internet up and running and they had to redo everything the techs from CenturyLink messed up with the coax lines when they installed PRISM TV a year ago. But after an hour or so they had the modem up and running and speed test shows with speed boost im up to 30Mbps/2Mbps and when not running speed boost im at 19Mbps/2Mbps. So much faster then DSL, plus not much more in price either.
Hopefully things will stay good with cable for awhile.
