I've been back with Charter for a couple of years now following a short period with AT&T (DSL just wasn't fast enough). Installation was a breeze as I had already wired all of the rooms in my home with RG6 & Cat6. Ordered triple play service so install was free. Contractor showed up early and was friendly and competent making sure all of my services worked as expected. They even provided an amplifier free of charge due to the number of taps that were live in the home and to accommodate all 3 services.
Service has been rock solid except for a wrongful disconnect just weeks after my install due to the previous owner not paying their bill. After posting in the Charter Direct forum, my service was restored less than 24 hours later (on a weekend) and I was given a pretty generous credit to my bill for the trouble.
My services have been stable including clear phone, good HD picture quality, & consistent HSI service. Again thanks to the folks in the Charter Direct forum here for promptly addressing any minor issues I've had quickly and effectively.
